Are there any games on GOG.com that are like Diablo 1?

Nox and Divine Divinity are the 2 isometric hack&slash games I'm aware of being sold here. There may be others.

Edit: Need to include Darkstone, Torchlight and Sacred too.

Nox, Divine Divinity, and Sacred .

Mystral and Licurg pretty much have them, but for the game that's the most like Diablo 1 specifically, Torchlight is probably your best bet.

It's important to note, though these all share similar mechanics, they're nothing like Diablo in feel. Nox is one of my favorite, very underrated games, and I highly recommend it to anyone. But despite the many, many comparisons to Diablo, it's not really anything like it aside from some superficial mechanics.

As for Torchlight, this was made by much of the team that made Diablo/Diablo 2 (nope, none of those guys work for Blizzard or worked on Diablo 3, lol). It's way more colorful, but with mods you can actually make it darker and grittier. The storyline is grittier.

Search the Torchlight mod threads in General and the Torchlight sub-forum, there's some must-install mods for it.

I would also say Lionheart which is quite Hack n Slash for Black Isle Studios, where the BG & IWD series can be that way it does pay at times to use the live pause during combat.

Like OrcishGamer has said, NOX is in a league of its own, absolutely superb and very underated game.

Sacred is also a fantastic game and it is HUGE to boot.

Darkstone, Soulbringer & Arcanum are also well worth looking in to

One of the real losses to retro gaming :( I hate that it's basically been left to rot by Blizzard.

If anything, I wish it'd be ported to a mobile platform or something similar, so it's less hideous to play in this day and age. I can usually deal with bad graphics and UI, but for some reason Diablo 1 on a modern system makes me cringe.

I've personally looked into trying to enhance the experience a few times, but with no luck in either case. The way it renders animations and draws surfaces is different from what my understanding of how it should be done is. I don't know DirectDraw and game design well enough to really tackle that, at this point anyway.

While I loved the Torchlight gameplay, the "storyline" was one aspect of it that I hated. I found it shallow, uninteresting and unmemorable. Today, I can't remember any of the details, or indeed remember any character from the game.

The other thing I didn't like about Torchlight was the fact that it was extremely unbalanced. The difficulty went up and down more than a pair of kangaroos in the mating season, and when I reached the final boss, it turned out that the character build I had was not in fact able to actually hurt him. Admittedly, that last fact may have been a bug rather than poorly balanced game mechanics, but when you're sitting there, having fought your way through the entire game, and being denied even a chance to complete the last few minutes of it, it doesn't make much of a difference.

I found Torchlight to be completely honest, boring as hell. I think I only managed to play it a few hours before I was totally bored. Oddly enough I love the Diablo series, maybe it was the 'fluffy graphics'. It's a good game, just not for me.
