Wondering about other people who use the DGBL front-end for their DOS games bought through gog? I'm sadly having to use it thanks to DOSbox crashing out on me continuously when using the normal gog shortcut/dosbox setup provided :/

Unfortunately having some issues getting several games to work well XP Mostly ones with multiple DOS exe files. Anyone worked with it before and know what sort of set-ups are needed?

One of the games im having issues with (As an example. Theres multiple games im having trouble booting properly) is Alien Breed: Tower Assault which seems to crash both with the gog dosbox setup crashes on the DGBL launcher :/

Did you try updating the dosbox version GOG provides with the latest version from the dosbox site? AFAIK you can just delete all the files in the GOG game's dosbox folder and just plop the contents from the new dosbox version installer in there.

Before that, though, try going into the game's .conf file(found in the game base install folder) with a text editor and tell me what the output display type is listed as(it's usually surface/ddraw/overlay/direct3d/etc.). Some games crash when certain output methods are used and not with others.
