This rock opera starring Christopher Lee is a sequel to the 1984 classic Deus Ex Machina for the ZX Spectrum, the first multimedia game ever created.

Here's the thing, apparently it is a classic but I have never heard of it until today. Sure it sounds interesting, any game starring Christopher Lee would, but I still don't quite know how it is supposed to play. Then I remembered that if there's one place that might know a thing or two about old pc classics it's this one. So I'm really hoping someone might enlighten me on this Deus Ex Machina game.
Well, I have never played the game myself. But I did find this youtube video of it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vwJBsYJ16IE
damn getting my hopes up for a kickstarter for "deus ex 2"
though it wouldnt really make a ton of sense...
My money's on Squeenix filing a trademark complaint.
Seems... interesting. I'll be keeping my eyes on this.
Ehhh, I don't get it.... what type of game is it?

The kind of game you buy in a $1 bundle because you have no idea what it is but don't mind getting it alongside other games.

I've been watching the playthrough of the original from youtube and it looks to be some sort of interactive rock opera with minigames, that make very little sense.

I'd guess this new version will be visually greatly improved interactive movie type of a thing.
