Neverwinter Nights isn`t a true sequel of Baldur`s Gate. I didn`t like it, underworld areas made me sick. I want isometric Baldur`s Gate 3 like you said. :D Maybe Dragon Age will be good like it, It will be isometric too and has a group system like Baldur`s Gate.

I see what you mean; truth be told I didn't like NN (1 or 2) either. They play like dumbed-down versions of Baldur's Gate in 3D with some of the most annoying camera and interface issues I've come across (and I never could get NN2 to run even halfway decent on a rig that can play every other game smoothly; some serious graphics engine issues there).
I daren't guess what Dragon Age will be like, even if they have called it a spiritual successor. It's Bioware, though, so I'm probably going to get it anyway. :-)
Rocket Jockey
An original concept featuring rocket bikes with grappling cables, all to the tune of a catchy surf guitar soundtrack. I'd love to see this game remade with a modern engine, an arena editor, a bike editor, and online play with an integrated server browser, not to mention getting rid of the annoying control lag on modern systems.
Magic Carpet
My favorite out of the Bullfrog Productions franchises, this game series casts you as a wizard on a magic carpet (hence the title) who has to basically build up a castle and possess as much mana as possible. The sequel has more varied objectives, which makes me more preferential towards it. Also, this game had real-time terrain deformation in 1994-something that modern games like Fracture are trying to spin off as something new! If someone would create a sequel for modern systems that had online multiplayer, that would be nice.
Those are about the only two sequels that I really want at the moment. Sure, I could ask for another Star Control and/or Starflight, but I don't know if any sequel can live up to Star Control II's pedigree. Star Control 3 sure didn't. I think that the best direction to go here is a new, original franchise that plays like those games to a degree, but has enough changes to the formula to be its own game (for instance, being more 3D space sim-ish). However, would it be possible for this new game to have a set of races as varied and charming in their own ways as the Star Control ones?

Nudiustertian: Knights of the Old Republic 3, on the other hand... Yeah, sign me up for another installment.

Clicky clicky
It's KoTOR 3 but not as I wished it. The only MMO I've played is Guild Wars and I just don't find the gameplay as engaging as the story in a well-made single player game.
In regards to the BG vs NWN - I was once quoted as saying "If they had called NWN2 Baldur's Gate 3 I wouldn't have been that upset." I found the gameplay, party mechanics and item use much more akin to Baldur's Gate than Neverwinter Nights. Sure it was 3D (like the first) and the graphics engine was an unoptimized piece of crap (in keeping with the tradition of the first) but the game almost screamed "Baldur's Gate" to me. That being said Baldur's Gate 2 is the greatest D&D CRPG ever made!!! Possibly excluding the Goldbox which I remember absolutely loving.
Edit: I also want a sequel to Battletech: The Crescent Hawk Inception - The current was rubbish.

Wow, Magic Carpet, thats a name i haven't heard in, oh like about a day or so, LOL. I've been tweaking around with MC 1 and 2: The Netherworlds last couple of days trying to get them up and running on a new PC. It took some time to get MC2 to play, but i'm still having hangups with MC 1. It definitely does not like the new OS's, LOL. They run fine on an old W98 machine i still have around.
But anyway, yeah i'd like to see an updated version of those again. Talk about God like,,hahahahahahahahaha.....Blood was good also, but Blood 2 was not up to the original tho.Hexen, Hexen2, Ecstatica 1 & 2, Redline, and anyone remember "D",i'm playing those now on my XP pc. Biggest problem with those old ones was the audio drivers. Had to go retro with a really old audio card. Sure glad i don't throw anything out, LOL.

Yeah, that's not KOTOR 3; it's not even an RPG. A MMORPG is a completely different beast, and it's not my cup of tea at all. I'm mostly a single-player-game player, and the multiplayer games I play are your typical FPSes en RTSes -- games for quick, simple, let's-all-get-together-and-do-one-thing gameplay, much like most MMORPGs when you're teaming up. That's fun too, but I play RPGs for the immersive experience -- to me a good CRPG is one that eats you up and doesn't spit you out again for a couple of weeks, as you play and replay it. MMORPGs with their single-player gameplay based on addictive repetition don't appeal to me at all -- although I can certainly see the market value of a KOTOR MMORPG.
See best games list.
I'd really like to see a Planescape torment sequel, or a Baldur's gate.
I can't wait till fallout 3 comes out, hopefully it will be as good as the old ones. I do also wish ot see another NWN, even if the 2nd wasn't quite as good as the first.
Recently, a series I've been wanting to get a sequel forever actually got one. I was amazed and dumbfounded at the announcement:
Mega Man 9!
Other classics I'm dying to see return or be reborn, not just PC games:
Metroid (need a part 5!)
Chrono Trigger (let's not start a flamewar about Cross..., but Trigger needs another sequel)
Thief (buy the rights to Saya and canonize TF2X! That fanexpansions was AWESOME).
Oh wow, somebody actually mentioned Little Big Adventure...LBA2 was what turned me into the gamer I am today:P
As for what deserves a sequel...Deus Ex...I demand a PROPER sequel.
I could go for a new Freespace, Mechwarrior, Space Quest (Roger Wilco), and I cannot wait for Fallout 3. I actually joined GoG because they had Fallout 1/2 and my discs were in storage. ;) Glad I did, cause I think I'm going to like being here (especially if they get around to releasing TOCA3 sometime soon).

adept89: Beyond Good And Evil deserves a sequel...not exactly an old game as compared to most of them here though. It really does deserve it, though.

It absolutely does deserve one and, after a bizarre act of God, it's getting one. There was a teaser trailer released in May: http://www.gametrailers.com/player/34508.html
