Hammerfall: Is there a way to tell which weapons are "Weapons of Justice" and which are not? And is there a way to tell what special attack the weapons of justice do? Or is it all guess work?
The one thing that really bugs me is how when the justice meter fills up, there is no easy way to save the special attack other then having a weapon specifically used for Justice attacks. Was this the way the combat was designed? Or do they expect us to just waste the Justice attacks as soon as we get them?

There seems to be just a few basic types of weapons which all have their special justice attacks. For example, anything that is "Spinning" will start a spinning AOE attack. Anything that's "Stamping" will knock away enemies, and so on. There are a few special combinations too that let you do extra awesome moves, like equipping a fire enchanted weapon at the same time as a spinning blade.
There doesn't seem to be any way to "save" a justice attack beyond the next button press, really. But it isn't much of an issue since a perfect block will always fill your justice meter. I don't know how far you're in the game yet, but you really got to get the hang of blocking properly to survive later on.
I'm currently level 13 - Puncher of Dragons - and have just equipped the mighty Hammer of Poop.
Like others I have to say PC version or GTFO.

cw8: PC version, otherwise no talk.

QFT
Can't be arsed to get a console for it (or for any other console game, for that matter).
Bought this earlier today, and MY GOD it's just full of awesome! :D
I really need to get this, but I don't have any money D:
Can't remember the last time I laugh so hard while playing a video game ! And I'm not just talking about the dialog every lil thing in the game is just funny as hell, from the the item descriptions to the actual menus and options -theres an "Evil" and "Good" sliders on the options with no apparent effect...
Gilbert at his best!
Must buy for any Schafer/Gilbert fans.
PC version is on its way (no date yet tho)
O' it seems will Tim Schafer is also working on some downloadable titles -

Anybody figured out how to kill ghosts yet? The first ones you meet you can just bypass, but now I can't get further without killing them, and they seem invulnerable to everything I have ... maybe a lightning rod is needed?
Edit: ROFL ... Just found "Fire Axe 2: Fire Harder"

I just hit level 17, Wielder of Weapons, and collected the entire Awesomeness set.
Literally.
The demo was hilarious. Got my arse kicked a little bit in, after you pass the gates and walk down the hill thing. Still, will buy but not yet. Need the money for pressing issues, like Split/Second.
I'm collecting motivational "Keep on truckin" posters for a depressed talking tree.
This is great.

Thanks for the reply! I really don't like the idea of wasting special attacks but I guess i'll have to just get used to the fact that the combat isn't supposed to really be that strategic.. hehe...

stonebro: mighty Hammer of Poop.

This game is a whole new kind of awesome. but no PC release yet :(
Well, I finished it. Best experience I've had in a game in a long, long time. I'm praying for expansions, updates, DLCs, whatever. Which is probably forthcoming considering the ending.
Some stats:
Percent completed: 100%
Main Quest completed: 33
Side Quests completed: 79
Minutes played: 520
Total killed: 4558
Treasure chests opened: 69
So, there's a total of 112 quests in the game, not bad. A substantial amount of them revolves around the procurement of manure.
