Navagon: It was a joke. Alan Wake is becoming the new Duke Nukem Forever. Back when it was first announced the fact that it was Vista only seemed like an extreme choice that would kill sales on the PC. Now Vista's past its use by date.

I feel sorry for Remedy, and 3D Realms too. Great times with max payne, then mp2 went down, now alan wake going down too (although it is looking promising). And of course, rockstar's gta corridor shooter (aka max payne 3), going bad too.

I haven't seen anything much of Max Payne 3, but what I have seen doesn't look anything like the previous games.
Alan Wake looks like it could be amazing... so long as it sees the light of day.

taczillabr: Hmmm I highly doubt it...and Alan Wake won't be released on pc this year, maybe never released on pc.
And add legal/justice problems between them and rockstar, like drmlessgames said. :/

Who knows? maybe alan wake 2 will be for win8 128-bits, but then win8 will flop like vista, and guess what? Will be released with DX15.03 for Win9. hehehe :P
Damn, I hope this industry doesn't fall apart in quality with this directx, win and gpu "salad".
