Greetings.

What a remarkable piece of entertainment media this is. I'm not even sure I can call it a game. The closest description I can think of is a semifreeroaming changing visual novel. Everything from the landscapes, narration, writing, lightning, environments, sounds and music is exceptional. This makes it one of the most engrossing experiences I've had with a "game".
But I noticed that it will only be that if you let it. Do not play it in the middle of the day with distractions around you. It needs to be played in the dark, alone and with headphones. What a experience it was for me then. It genuinely affected me and that's something very rare.

I really want to play it again, it only take about two hours, since I didn't explore it fully and the narration is somewhat random from game to game so I want more of the story. But it'll have to wait a while until this playthrough have sunk in a little more. It will stay with me for a while.

I realise it's certainly not for everyone but for the price it have on steam it's well worth it to try if you like it.

I'll make a new thread with spoilers about it and write what I think it was all about.
I might describe it as an immersive and beautifully presented short story. At one point I actually even recoiled in terror as I took a wrong step and almost fell off a cliff, forgetting that it's a game. It took about 70 minutes for me the first time and maybe 45 - 60 minutes the second time. What's great is that I actually ended up having different feelings and even different meanings each time due to the random nature of the way the story's told. Both times though the ending conjured up some powerful feelings that lingered for quite some time.

The 'game' starts off pretty slow but the ending is so worth it. I'd highly recommend it if you can bear doing nothing but walking around for an hour listening to a story.
I liked it immensely. So different from anything else I've played. At first I was confused by it. The narrator keeps referring to people you never meet, with some vague connections between the narration and the landscapes you walk through, there are strange drawings on cliffs and cans of luminous paint everywhere. After the first playthrough things became a bit clearer, though.

As one reviewer put it, it's a game you enjoy with a hot beverage in a quiet evening. I'm not sure if it's even a game. Maybe an 'experiment' would be a better term. It can also be used as a showcase of beauty in computer games. It's one more positive argument argument in the old question of whether computer games are a form of art.
Loved it.

Played it through a few times - then found a site listing Easter eggs and things to watch out for - most of which I had completely missed - like ghostly reflection in puddles. Played it through again a couple of times looking out for those - loved it even more.

I just remembered the shivers I got every time I glimpsed a silhouette moving in the distance...

Yes. Very chilling. Knowing that I have to press forward and meet whatever is in my way after seeing one of those silhouettes was nerve racking.
It was definitely something else. I liked it somewhat, though I couldn't pinpoint exactly why. I guess it was the atmosphere and (the short) story.
