I been looking at videos of dead rising for xbox and it looks like my kind of game where its just killing zombies and fun.

Anyone else play this game and did you like the game?

Should I buy both dead rising 1 and 2. Or maybe just buy number 2.

Thanks...
I would go with Dead Rising 1, I put a lot of really fun hours into that game. It starts off moderately difficult, but you maintain your level through multiple playthroughs and after a while you can accomplish whatever you want to with little difficulty. The game is a little bizarre but I can confirm it is basically just killing zombies and fun, as you said.
Best console game of recent memory.
buy only one for now because it may get very repetitive fast if you play both games in close time frame.
If you're wanting a zombie sandbox it kind of provides that, but the main campaigns of both games are time oriented, which might turn you off. Can be a bit annoying to want to say, find the ingredients for a weapon you want to combine while also dealing with the various deadlines you're forced to deal with.

Oh year not will enjoy the time limit. I am more interested in just shashing zombies up and having fun. Nothing so hard but a decent world to explore.

I really liked the first. The second one didn't have as good a vibe and was the same game, so I would skip it.
Just looking for a game I can have fun and smash things. KNow of any???

gameon: I only played the 2nd one, and got frustrated with it because i found it too difficult to defeat bosses, confusing to know where i was/how to get to the next place. I like to play games at my own pace, but i just found dead rising too hectic/demanding.
Dead Rising 2: Off the Record has a sandbox mode without a time limit.

Beautiful Katamari is a great veg-out game on the 360.
I picked it up 2 days ago in Game 2nd hand for about €6, not particularly enjoying it tbh.
What do you not like about it???

Well it was annoying combat wise, frustrating when rescuing survivors, some of the mini games are annoying, like taking photos. Saving the game is annoying. Bosses are really annoying.

You build up stats as you progress, the general advice I have been given, is to play a certain amount, then quit and restart (your stats are saved) and build up your stats a fair bit like that before playing the game properly, I just think its a pretty shit mechanic if you need to do that.

I guess I'm in the minority as its a very popular game, I just think its pretty crap.
The first one is ok, but has some pretty horrible achievements, namely the 54k zombie kills and the 7-Day Survivor (requires one continuous sitting of, at minimum, 14 hours - 2 RL hours = 1 in-game 'day'. You cannot turn off your Xbox as there is no save feature in that mode, plus if you go into the Food Court on Day 4-5, it locks up). It's a decent enough game, but it's marred by a lot of little pain in the ass things.

The second is just more of the same, only with added downside of buggy co-op and shitty multiplayer achievements. This one increases the zombie kill achievement to 72k in one playthrough.

There's a variety of collectibles in each one, like wearing all the clothes types, eating all the food types, firing all the weapons, etc.
