I actually mentioned that game to TheEnigmaticT just a couple weeks ago in a casual chat. I remember how surprisingly good the graphics were for the late 90s, and how badly I sucked at the combat ^_^

I remember seeing lot's of ads for this game back in the day. Tha said, I'm not really sure I played its demo.

But I'm very sure I did not play the complete game.

It is a truly amazing game, and it shames me that if it would came out today it wouldn't sell. It's not dumbed down enough for that.

Hope the game gets here eventually.

sadly,i don't think that the game will pop up on gog ,as Microprose that owns the copyright is dead...

Microprose are dead but the rights are with other people now. Master of Magic and Master of Orion were Microprose games.

I played a demo of it years ago! Noticed that the devs really do think of everything as far as videogame cruelty punishment is concerned....

Then I read about it on HotU and found that it's a game where events constantly occur, whether you're there or not.

Now if I could just get my hands on it...

(As for Microprose rights, they're scattered everywhere. For instance, I'm pretty sure Atari-Hasbro owns the rights to the Falcon franchise.)

I remember it, It was one of my first games! I was rather young back there so I couldn't understand everything. But after 1 year of English education in our school i returned in this wonderful world of Dark Earth and finished it. After that i have played it several time, till i changed my PC...

Hope GoG will bring us this beautiful jewel!

It was an awesome game, I gave up trying to get it to work, it and its sexeh big box now live in my under stair cupboard. I hope GOG will get it one day. so for all those interested please vote for it.
