Nope, I'm quite happy we finally get to see what ELSE is on offer if we don't like the first choice. That way we can choose 1 of 3, with the mystery/surprise being the price now. Very acceptable.

As for Bard v Spacechem, think about it this way: "When else will you see each on that kind of special?" - and choose accordingly, IMO.

About the daily, I got Spacechem because it has a super discount, whilst Bard's price is still too high for its ancient age.

I didn't own any of the three,

I chose Amnesia but it was only 51% off ($9.79), still too much for me to invest in, especially since I don't have the machine to run it, and, yes, I'm keeping some games aside for when I get a better computer, but I only buy them when they are a bit cheaper than that or when I feel they're absolutely must-haves (for instance, last Summer Sale's deal on the Wide A. Wake Alan Wake bundle promo, the huge discount they're having right now on The Witcher 2, or the pre-order discount on Broken Sword 5 -- yes, my PC doesn't even run Broken Sword 5).

Has anyone noticed any variation in discounts for various mystery deals since the change?

Where is the reroll button? I have read about it buy but not seen it. But maybe I jumped quickly on Tomb Raider 4+5 so quickly that I ignored everything else. :)

Maybe they just reworded how the system always worked on the news yesterday, aka the way the daily discounts are applied is still the same since sales day 1.
