I already read on the other thread, thank you! :)
This game will be a must-buy for me. Hope it proves to be as good as it seems!
Awesome. I picked this up on Steam during the holiday sale, but have been waiting for release to play it. Looks like I know what I'll be doing later today.
Not sure if already posted, but: GOG Teaser trailer

It should be available within the next hour if I read the global release time properly.
How much will it be? It looks interesting but I don't want to pay like 30$ for it yet lol.
Here's a blue text comment about Blackguards release time, today, that clarifies in the Aarklash promo discussion of all places.

The Escapist review mentions 25$; no idea if this is true for the GOG version, we'll know soon enough.

Anyway, what I read in the Gamespot review doesn't sound like this would be my cup of tea, because this is the very same thing that ruined Knights of the Chalice for me:

Worse yet are the many battles that jump from one to another with no chance to rest, or battles pitting you against multiple waves of enemies with no clue as to how long they'll last.

Because no one mentioned it yet, but it seems since yesterday there is already a demo available.

Just found it because Kunovski posted a link about the Aaklash-demo in the daily promo thread, and guess what was the first related news on this page:

Crosmando: we're very proud to announce that Blackguards' development has come to a conclusion ahead of schedule. Thus we have decided to release the game on Steam without further delay, namingly on January 22th at 5 p.m. CET / 8 a.m. PST - that's right, it's today!
It hit me in the face when I opened the GOG home page. :)
