I want to get the PC version of ME2 (got 360 version)

My net allowance is crap.

Is it possible to download the installer via another person using my D2D account and burn it to a DVD and run that from my machine?

Wouldn't it be easier to get retail version? Amazon sells ME2 for couple of pounds.

I would say yes according to THIS ARTICLE in Direct2Drive's support area

Long story short, you can download via your browser and also get the key, if needed. Copy said things to the DVD and install on your computer
Well then, from what I understand about D2D, they give you license keys separately. Which means you can download and archive the installer, and then install with your keys anywhere you like.

Someone could verify that though.
Edit: Ninja'd.
