so, many eons ago I've came across this demo of a Czech adventure game J.U.L.I.A, and I really liked it! but the game itself was still in development, and I've completely forgot about it...
until now :) the Groupees bundle includes it so I've immediately bought it and started playing...
and it is really good! it tells a story of a scientist Rachel who's woken up by an artificial intelligence JULIA aboard an abandoned spaceship, and she needs to find out where's everybody and what happened.
the game doesn't excell in graphics (mostly just static pictures or short animated loops) but the story is really catchy so far, the exploration of surroundings (and other planets) and dialogues are mixed with logical/puzzle challenges from time to time, and it's kept me playing for quite a while now (I should go to bad... ;)
anyhow, how come this game didn't get any attention when it was released last year? it has many qualities, most of the dialogues are narrated (and it sounds fine to me), the story is great, the atmosphere is fine... you should try! :o)
(and if a minimum fee, one dollar, is still too much for you to pay for the bundle, try the demo please)
hopefully somebody will be as glad as I am to discover this little game!
EDIT: typos, typos, typos... I REALLY should get some sleep now...
