grviper: Great. Can one see this text somewhere other that the trailer full of exciting typing action, please? 99% of text on the game's page is adverts and feature lists, all the art is just standalone art. I don't think even the trailer shows a single full screenshot of the game - it's all closeups and blinking.
Yeah I am for this too. The trailer looks great, but it would be nice to see a 1 to 2-minute gameplay video with developer commentary minus the flashy camera angles.

The last guy who called me "friend" tried to pickpocket me at the same time :)

hulksjedi: My friend, I don't know why you are so desperately trying to boycott our game
I've seen text+graphics ranging from the abysmal Mystery House to the brilliant Eric the Unready. I've seen many glorious ways people screw up this design. I've seen good art-text synch and really bad one, when the author actually expects the player to see and identify things on a bad picture, and there's no way to get the same info via the text interface. So I'm sorry, I'm not jumping for joy upon seeing various pictures, a guy from Andromeda, the feelies and the cinematic briefcase opening.
Remember what came to be, when Douglas Addams tried to bring IF back in his Starship Titanic, and chose the most awkward part of text adventures (NPC communication) as the main throwback to the good old days? Ugh...

hulksjedi: Did I mentioned they have four breasts?

That's one more than Total Recall.
Finally found it.

I understand all that (I do not agree on a single word, but I understand what you're saying). It's just that trashing the game like you did.... mmmmmm.

Anyway, the game is up and people is buying it. We'll continue doing games, and probably new text adventures in the future. In fact, we're working on the second game right now. ;-)

Have a nice Sunday!
I'm intrigued. Been ages since I last played a decent text adventure. Been on the lookout for something that would get my Mind voyaging again ...
Have had my eye on this since Friday, just waiting for some feedback from someone who has tried it. I assume there are others in the same boat as me.
Everything about this looks great. It's doesn't look like your typical side scrolling indie that is so popular these days, but an honest to god passion project! I'm thinking about spending money I don't have on this game it looks so good :)

hulksjedi:
Btw, any plans for a boxed version? The CE is cool, but I don't know where I can find a shop in Singapore that can print these things cheaply (and of good quality)

Also, $15 qualifies for a release on GOG, sooo... GOG version pl0x? :D

So I'm hearing reports that the grammar is pretty rough and could use an editor. Just throwing that out there.

I can confirm that. I have just bought the game and played it for about an hour. It is a pretty major flaw for a text adventure. They should definitely correct the grammar.

Putting that aside, the story is captivating and I love the way they use music and sound. Puzzles are not that hard and the pacing seems good. I look forward to continuing my adventure tomorrow.

It's a shame. I'll be interested in buying it if they cleaned it up a bit.

Funny thing is we sent the game for correction. A lot. Funny thing is also most people are enjoying it. A lot too!

Hey guy I want you to know that I I personally love that you guys are working to restore a dead genre. If I had the money I'd buy the game and put up a video review on youtube. Maybe I'll ask my wife for it come christmas.

Spelling errors can happen when you don't have Stephen King's editor to poor over thousands of words of text. I'm glad your project is getting attention! One tip I would suggest is ask your community to report any spelling errors and missing words. I'm sure they would be happy to help and it wouldn't cost money on your end :)
Thanks for the support guys! it has been a hell of a ride so far ;-) the that fact some players haven't even finished 40% of the game and are asking for the second part already made our day!!! ;-)
