I've been trying to apply a no-DVD patch on Crysis Maximum Edition (legally bought of course) all day long, and finally I managed to make it work, but only the 32bit version - the 64bit says that a dll is missing or something. I am wondering in what terms this might affect gameplay and if the change will be tremendous to make me want to dump the 32bit and instead just take the DVD with me.

Doesn't 64 bit handle multi cores better?
I had quite a few crashes with the 32 and 64 bits cracks that I used... try contacting EA's Support to activate your games on Origin. I was able to run the 64bit just fine from there.

No. 64bit versions will have access to more registers and more memory, but threaded performance is mainly a function of how the code was structured and how many things the program can do at once.

Contact them again. They activated my retail Crysis copy without any questions. I think it depends on which person takes your support ticket. :D

Nope, why? The guy just asked for the serial number, and then activated the game.
Man, I think I was trolled. He asked for my cdkeys, then told me to sign up on Pogo (?!?!?!) and create a persona there and link it with my EA account and all kinds of crap. :-S As soon as the transcript is available I'll post it here.
This is from my second attempt! Man, what are these people, mindless bots?

^ WTF?

Pogo has nothing to do with activating games on Origin. :/

By the way, try both of these links (one of them worked for my Steam copy of Warhead):
