Theta_Sigma: LOL After the day I had that actually made me laugh :D. Mmm, food, I like food, I am having a delightful beef vindaloo with popadoms and a burrito with a cold Canada Dry.
BlueMooner: Sorry your day sucked. My life sucks. I have no idea what popadoms are.
No worries, it's mostly just because I got a cold that is going around and I feel like crap. popadoms are are like these baked goods that go good for dipping in curry or soup or other such things. Very, Very good.
jakob187: An update on this: The animal blood didn't taste great, and I'm pretty sure I've now contracted malaria. Bad suggestion overall. However, I was able to download Beneath A Steel Sky today (small download, just to test it out) and it was up and running fine. Unfortunately, I'm having crashes still on some stuff outside of that (non-GOG-related, stupid League of Legends). I'm going to try a bigger download and see what's up. I also know that...for some reason...I can't get memtest86 to boot from my USB drive despite boot priority being set up properly. YAY ASUS BIOS! -__-
Umm, If it's giving you trouble DURING boot process try pressing Esc or F2 to pull up a list of drives to boot from. You should be able to find your USB stick in that (it's how I boot to my Live USB distros), I hope that helps you out. Also I believe MemTest is on the Linux Mint 13 has MemTest available from it's boot list when you pop the disc/usb in; which you could also try. Again, I hope this is of some help to you.
