A classic game recently was offered to GOG and was rejected. That game was called Hovertank 3D, Hovertank 3D is one of the first FPS games created by iD software and has just recently had its source code released to the public. Just knowing that GOG disregarded this mythical game is just shameful.

So I am giving away a copy of the catacombs pack to make sure that GOG users are aware of this important situation and how disgusted with GOG I am about it .

Huh, they actually rejected Hovertank 3D? Like, seriously? I mean, sure, that game sucks by any standard, but considering they also sell Catacombs (which is a slightly less sucky version of Hovertank), I'm surprised by this. I mean, it's a piece of gaming history and it'd be worth picking up for >$1 during a sale.

I already own Catacombs, so not in for the giveaway but I wouldn't mind seeing Hovertank 3D on gog.

There's always hope that GOG will accept the game eventually, it might not fit with the releases they have planned for now, they might be overwhelmed with work, with all this Witcher 3 and GOG Galaxy stuff that is going on right now, maybe they can't fit the game into their release schedule... I don't know, there can be a multitude of reasons. It saddens me that you guys waiting for this game to show up here are not getting it, even though I'm not a first person shooter fan.

I have no reason to complain about GOG, lately they've been releasing lots and lots of the kind of games I like (mostly adventure games and indies), but I think everyone should be able to buy the games they want to play on their digital store of choice, and here's to hoping GOG will take a look at Hovertank later on and add it to the catalog.

It's a classic and i thought bringing in classics was supposed to be a part of GOG.
Wether you like them or not, wether you buy them or not. Leave it up to sales if they are worth it or not, just give it a chance.
