Not that I know of, however I too would be significantly more likely to buy games from such a company. Most of the time they just turn a blind eye to it which makes it a bit risky for those wanting to post those videos as they're not really sure whether the publisher is going to try and have them taken down.

Nintendo's European branch openly encouraged people to make Let's Play videos of Xenoblade. They even made a contest out of it.

Companies request the removal of their own ads sometimes when they're posted to YouTube, so it wouldn't surprise me if some of those videos were removed.

And they can use the DMCA as most folks don't know their rights and enforcing them can get expensive with all the attorneys involved.

There are a few things to bear in mind

1: DRM-free has no bearing one way or the other on whether something is protected by copyright. LBA and LBA2 most certainly are under copyright.

2: A gameplay video could arguably be fair use or public performance. That's why it's complicated - it mostly depends on who's better at arguing.

The worst that's likely to happen is the video being deleted, so it doesn't seem like too much of a risk.

Another good example of how the US Fair Use laws need to be modernized. At least make it clear one way or the other.. no more ambiguity.

To me, this would be Fair Use, but as has been stated "it's complicated".
