I can't find any were on the web site or my receipt that gog charges extra without stating it?


I have purchased games on here in the past but after last weeks interplay deal I got extra charges on my credit card for convenience fee's from GOG.com

As far as I know this is VERY untrustworthy and even illegal to do.

Could be that , I just never got the fee before with other purchases. But that wouldn't surprise me. Thanks I never thought of that. Banks love to sneak in new fee's lol

That is it, my bank does it also. They're small fees but it did surprise me a little at first.

The name of the fee is hilarious. It's like there's a public loop hole in the legal system that makes it easy to fill in a decent fee for banks e.g convenience fee.

It has happened to me too but not often.

I used my card for a couple of GOGs, and got hit with £1.25 charge by the bank....on a £3.50 game!

For me it was like 30 cents for a six dollar purchase.

My bank charges a 3% fee for international charges. I get them each time I get a game from GOG

Yeah I got a email from GOG. If anybody hasn't found out yet if you pay with paypal you wont get the fee from your bank if they charge such fees.
