I wanted to contact them especially to ask them if they tried and wanted to sell their Siege of Avalon game on GOG. But it's pretty hard to find any contact email to them.

SoA technical support page is only a FAQ and troubleshooting, it mentions sometihng about phone contact (lol), but there are no e-mail addresses anywhere (or I'm just blind)

I believe their game is really worth being brought to GOG, so... If anyone has email contact to them, can you write to them?

Mobygames lists Blacktar as publisher, there is also an eMail on the page:
http://www.mobygames.com/company/blackstar-interactive-gmbh

I would also contact that guy from the fanpatch, on his page he wrote he had been granted permission for his patch, so it's very likely he has contact to some officials:

Edit: Gah, I should really read the pages closely before I post them. Blackstar is gone since 2002, so my first reference is worthless.

Yeah, I wanted to contact the developers, not the publishers, because if anyone knows who owns the game now, it's probably them.

And if the publishers are gone, like gone for good, maybe, just maybe, the original creators got back the rights.
Ogawsh SoA. gotta wishlist that stuff.

Any luck?

A Good Old Game? I'm rather useless at times, but lemme know if I can help. ;)

I see Take 2 was mentioned as one of the publishers. Maybe if this (http://www.pcgamer.com/2012/10/23/gog-has-gotten-really-far-in-talks-with-either-microsoft-take-two-or-lucasarts/) is actually Take-Two, the GOG guys could talk to the higher ups about it.

Hmmm, Global Star Software redirects to 2K Play. "It encompasses the former Global Star Software label that was founded in 1992 by Ari Firestone and later sold to Take-Two Interactive."

EDIT: Oh, publishers not wanted. Well,

"Digital Tome, L.P., headquartered in Houston, TX, develops interactive entertainment software for Windows 9x/ME personal computers. Founded September 1999, the company has focused on bringing together a core team of professional artistic and engineering talents to build a top-notch game development studio."

Maybe try to get in contact with some individual instead of any corporate entity?

Edit:

Getting in touch with one or more of these guys may be your best bet:
Producer R. Van Collins
Project Manager James Shiflett
Business Manager Alan Beauchamp
Marketing Manager Kip Kilpatrick
