These games look interesting but I am holding out for when GOG finally makes Freedom Force 2 available to purchase. I figure they might release it around the time of the next promo? Wednesday Perhaps?

Must be the fourth or fifth time I got all of the promo games. Weird, I don't have THAT many games...or do I?
As for the series in question, I love Pandora Directive but find it almost impossible to go back to Under a Killing Moon due to the silly, rather immature humor which characterizes the script for that game. PD managed to strike a happy medium somewhere between camp and suspense, but UAKM's amateur enthusiasm is an acquired taste, at best...

How could I resist?

Yep, some promos recur after a time. The last Tex Murphy promo was December or January. I remember this, because the first Tex Murphy was as christmas gift for free and after this there was the promo to get all the rest. That was very smart, so smart I couldn't resist.
Some weeks ago there was a promo with Beyond Good and Evil and Prince of Persia, which were already in a bundle some month ago. It seems some publisher are more interested in doing promos at all or only wants to promote special titles. As example, Ubisoft did promote Prince of Persia and Beyond Good and Evil twice, but there was no promo with Heroes of Might and Magic yet.

Heroes are too good for promos. You have to buy them anyway. At least thats what nostalgia says.

There was Might & Magic promo. All M&M games (Heroes and rpg) bundled for 50% off.
Just before Christmass, you can check in the nws archive.
And unfortunately just before I decided to spend some $$$ here.

Just a slight note; the flash screen doesn't show the promo sceen anymore. I suppose it doesn't really interfere with the promo itself, but it may still be better to have it back (so that users coming to the site can see it's the promo for this weekend).

Agreed, don't know why it went away - it usually stays up for the duration of the promo
