custardcream: this looks an interesting game.
it appears similar to rpg games like dungeon master and eye of the beholder. is that the case?

It's more an adventure game than an RPG really; the RPG aspect is present but fairly tacked-on. Mostly you just use item on enemy -> eventually level up.

There are many gruesome ways to die. The visuals, though dated, still pack one hell of a frightening punch. You battle vampires, mummies, and all sorts of famous evil creatures. What more could you want?
