hi all,

so, does anyone know and would be willing to recommend a comics similar to Liberty Meadows? I'm looking for something nice, reasonably funny, with a decent story and pretty ladies in it if possible :), and it should be short strips...

also, no Garfield or Dilbert ;)

thank you!
University² by the same artist? But be warned: The humour is more rough than the one in Liberty Meadows.

Edit: There's also an English version of Life Ain't No Pony Farm, a German webcomic I like very much. But I doubt that there is a printed edition you can buy.

It's been years since I read them, but and [url=http://www.gocomics.com/9chickweedlane/]9 chickweed lane might work.

I highly, HIGHLY recommend Bloom County, perhaps the greatest comic of the 1980s. A lot of it was topical humor, but the art and writing was top-notch.

Note: AFAIK it's not online, so you'd have to buy compilations (probably really cheap on Amazon). You could probably fine a torrent of it, but I don't know morally how one should feel about that.

Check out Google Images to see if you'd like it:

Holy shit! someone who actually reading Liberty Meadows! Praise Monkey Boy and his excellent female character drawings!

Ok, since you want funny comics and I read a ton of webcomics I will recommend a lot for you. Here you go!

Since Liberty Meadows is a slice of life comic (with animals speaking English casually) I think you will love this. Lets start with Johnny Wander. It's a slice of life with short stories with fantastic characters like Death (as in Grim reaper) fell in love with a woman and accidentally turning her hand into skeleton or a blind girl who kept a cockatrice as her pet.

Sandra and Woo is an interesting webcomic where the character actually grew older as the story goes by. It's a lighthearted comic about a girl and her pet raccoon who can speak English (but need to keep it secret from other people).

You want laugh? Bug Martini or previously known only as bug comic is 5 day a week funny comic. It always come out with something absurd or surprising punchline.

Do you like Calvin and Hobbes? how about girl version of it? Heavenly Nostril is an interesting twist about a girl and her unicorn. Also the unicorn is actually named Heavenly Nostril.

You want sexy? Menage A Trois is a way to go. Just becareful, it got NSFW from time to time. Just imagine Archie comics but sexually overcharged.

Wapsi Square is a pretty interesting comic. It's a slice of life comic combined with supernatural creatures. The art evolution is pretty amazing too.

I don't know if you going to like this one. Questionnable Content is slice of life comic with indie musicians and sass as their main staple of jokes.

There you go. Happy reading!
