I want to close my account. How do I do this?

As in fully delete your access to the games you've purchased and such? I think you'd need to contact support for something that large.
Out of curiosity, why would you want to do it anyway?

Yeah, since it does not store your credit info or anything I can't imagine a reason you would want that.

Is there not a part of the FAQ to do with this?
In the website help I found this:
"10. How do I cancel my GOG.com account?
We have no idea why you'd want to do that, but if you will ever want to cancel your GOG.com user account, please contact us via the "General / Website questions" contact form. After verifying you are the owner of the account in question and confirming that you want your account to be permanently deleted, our support rep will delete the account for you. Please remember that without an account, you won't be able to re-download your purchased games as well as any additional content available, including updates and patches. Also, it won't be possible to “recreate” the deleted account later, if you change your mind."
Or perhaps you could email GOG directly? (there is a "contact us" link at the bottom of the page). Contact Us Link.

RickTommy, I have asked for this as well on various sites. However, I have not found that many companies will literally "remove" your account.
The latest one for me was the makers of X2 series and X3 because of their constant use of DRM and they did at least remove my account to post on the forums.
Your best and likely only course of action is to write the people in charge of GOG and ask then politely to Remove, Delete, Deactivate your account and also your reason(s) why you want it removed.

Well, maybe he had a bad experience and wants his details to be deleted. Although I doubt there is someone who had a bad experience with GoG. :)

Of course there has... I can clearly recall a person in regards to Arx Fatalis... Might be before your time though :p
