Different games...
Having played only the "new" Bard's Tale, and just a little bit... I would choose Undying.

The Bard's Tale remake is pretty bad imho, but it's probably worth it for the old games included.

Completely different games - however, as an RPG Addict I say BT especially since you get the original 3 as well.

CBU is way better - BT is a very meh type of game that tries to be funny and just have boring combat.
