I'm at fault here. I was aiming to update that site, but unfortunately when setting up my build environment for work, the new Visual Studio won't work on Vista. So I've been trying to get it working. I will try harder, hopefully something next week.
vote here for trading/escrow functionality

re-posting my comment here as well, can't post a link yet

possible solution - add escrow button- it sends an notification to the other trading party and freezes your game code. Then the other party confirms with one of their game codes and you receive an notification back. If you agree gog then deletes both codes and send you a new code for the game you traded for and same for the other party. If not the transaction is cancelled,codes are unfrozen, etc.

@wpegg - Hi wpegg are you one of the web developers for gog?

Hi! Just stumbled upon ths thread, and not sure what exactly a scammer ist and where the word comes from. Am I right when I think a scammer is someone who tries to betray people to get their gamecodes, so they can have the games without buying them, meaning those scammers are thieves?

Yes, you've understood the term correctly. The word is refined from the word "scumbag" since they're so close to each other. Their motives are usually either
a) lack of money, even pennies, which means they need to steal everything, or
b) the lust for power they think they gain from fooling innocent, good people. They have this incorrect perception that since they were successful in tricking another person, they are now above them somehow, when in reality they couldn't be more wrong.
@DProject:
Thanks! Now I know, a scammer is a total A--hole
