Delixe: A word of caution with XIII. I have it in the boxed sold out version and no matter what I have tried I can't get it to run on Win7 64bit.
Your best bet for Freedom Fighters is eBay. Works fine on Win 7.

I'm on Win 7 x64 also. I have both the CD version and GamersGate version of XIII. When I would try to install either version, it would kick out of install about half way through. The only way I've been able to run it on Win 7 x64 is to install the game under XP (like with XP mode) and then copy those files to Win 7 and apply a "fix." This allows the game to run fine under Vista/7 64bit.
Basically, its just the installer/DRM that's the pain in the ass.

Delixe: What amused me was in the hype for the game they kept saying "ITS MOTHERF*****G DAVID DUCHOVNEY!!!". Everyone seemed to forget he know's only two types of acting. Plank and Wood.

Navagon: "David Duchovney, brought to you in association with Valium"

"You've never seen me panic. When I panic I look like this." *blank stare*
So true, and yet how I love him.

Prator: Personally, I would very much like to know where to find Crusader: No Remorse and Crusader: No Regret.

I wish I could find Birthright the Gorgon's Alliance (I know amazon has it for 70$+ but... even I *gasp* have a hard time convincing myself to spend that much money for a game....)
/sigh... watch me break down and buy a copy by the end of the day....

Wishbone: Well, it says SecuROM under DRM, so it's hard to say. The one from the author's site doesn't mention the DRM specifically, but does say that you don't need to be online to play.

You won't need to be online to play any GamersGate game either (unless specifically mentioned, ie, games using that stupid new DRM of Ubisoft's). If the SecuROM was placed there by GamersGate, it's only to verify ownership of your game during the install process.

I bought No Regret off Ebay, could probably also find it on amazon used...

I have boxed copy but unfortunately I don't know how to sell things online and it's probably too much trouble anyway to set up and handle. I would like to get rid of most of my game collection selling locally just does not work too well. (my collection)

I know I can buy used copies from various places, but my real concern is that the CD won't run in my computer. I hope that GOG will pick up the series at some point, because that's the only way I know of to be sure that I'll be able to find a PLAYABLE copy.

DelusionsBeta: ...LucasArts only seem to do Steam, and a limited selection at that.

They're also on Direct2Drive.com. I prefer D2D because while they still mostly have DRM, you don't have to have a whole other program running just to play them. The program files also aren't hidden in some numbered directory within the steam directory.
Agreed, most of the Origin games were awesome and would be a welcome addition to the GOG library
System Shock 2. American McGee's Alice. Outcast. None of these seem to be available legally and first-hand any longer...
GoG.com, I REALLY LOVE U!!! \o/
