So I don't want this to seem like some unofficial wishlist, it's just that I've been saving my old games for the future (the ones that aren't on GOG, anyway), and had a huge amount of nostalgia with (don't let the German title in the video fool you :P) and [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fLBJllTkIwc]Network Q RAC Rally Championship.

Ignition being one of the granddaddies of crazy racers (I mean from the very beginning of the era when those could be done spectacularly, anyway; levels with volcanoes and jungles on them, that sort of thing) while Rally Championship is a seriously good simulation for its time and it also came out fully translated in Hungary, where I live (the chances of that in the 90s was about as slim as you can possibly imagine, and then halved :D).

So anyone who knows these games and felt the passion for them at the time, or maybe even these days?

(Btw, they both work fine with DOSBox, Ignition needing a bit of juice though if you want ultra-super-high-res 800x600 :P).
Nothing? Nobody? Ouch :(
Well, when I saw the title of the thread, I was going to mention Network Q Rally, but too late for that it seems.
I liked Big Red Racing, it's probably one of the funniest racers ever made. Plenty of off color tracks, a bizarre mixture of cars and tracks.

General rule: never too late or too early to mention Network Q Rally one more time :D I'm glad to know there's someone who thinks of that game when seeing "classic racers" :)

Does seem pretty crazy and fun :P also, just made me remember Powerslide (because of the big open spaces). I only played the demo of that one, but it definitely made an impression.

Holy crap, I had forgotten that this game existed! Awesome stuff, but I doubt that it's aged very well...

Also, remembered Dethkarz, this game was absolutely brilliant and I'd probably even play it again right now:

Now that just made me remember - bear with me - the original LEGO Racers :D
