Take a walk on the deadside!

Shadow Man, a remarkably dark and gripping action-adventure game based on the voodoo-filled comic book series, is available 60% off on GOG.com. That's only $2.39 for the next 24 hours!

They say that magic of blood is the ultimate kind of magic. It pleases the mighty dark spirits of the Deadside, giving its user power that no human being should ever wield. But the human soul is easily corruptible by such temptations. There are always those, who would reach for the forbidden fruit. They will kill to taste it. They will kill again to keep it. But the Man of Shadows, the traveler between the worlds, stands guard. His destiny is to maintain balance between the Deadside and the Liveside. By the power of gruesome voodoo artifacts, he's implored to stop all strife--by any means necessary.

Shadow Man is a third-person perspective action game that will amaze you with its dark story and aesthetics. You will explore two overlapping worlds, held together by the power of eternal magic. The nonlinear gameplay will take you to numerous impressive locations with many terrifying enemies to defeat and clever puzzles to solve. If you enjoy action games with deep and unique setting, solid gameplay, and dark mood, you can't go wrong with this comic book-inspired classic!

Start your fascinating journey through the dark realms of bloody magic and madness in Shadow Man, for only $2.39 on GOG.com, today! The offer lasts until Tuesday, February 11, at 10:59AM GMT.

Another big release perhaps?
"Something meaningful" is all in the eye of the beholder :)

I figured you'd say something like that, so I purposely left it open.

I spy with my beholder eye...
Let me guess, tomorrow's release: Shadowman DLC "UhOh, That VooDoo Bitch!"

What do we do every Tuesday and Thursday, Pinky? :P
HEY! Smannesman is ripping off my shitty joke! :D

JMich: So if you have the N64 version, the only reason to pick the PC one is Graphics? Good to know.
Well, it's still going to be the same game... at it's core, so what other reasons are there?
I bought this during the Insomnia Sale because the sale had slowed to a crawl and I was interested in the soundtrack, I've spent all of five minutes playing the game. The soundtrack is okay. Either way I did my part during the Insomnia Sale, some people bought Jack Keane 2: The Fire Within, I bought Shadow Man.

I did not even see that, thank *INSERT RANDOM DEITY* that mine was different enough to avoid a lawsuit.
Or at least different enough that I could potentially win said lawsuit.

Oh yeah, I'm sure the courts would want to hear our BS. :P Besides, you named an actual real game so you'd win.

I don't feel the need to buy a game more then once if I have a perfectly working copy that doesn't look bad on n64 at all. So if it's only a better resolution and better lighting then I'm fine with the n64 version.
(it could have had different levels for example...)

Superficially, I see a lot of similarities between Shadow Man and Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver. Both feature vast open 3D worlds, 3rd person perspective, a good measure of platforming, respawning enemies and lots of exploration. Also the switching between the "real world" and the "otherworld". Both games were developed for the Dreamcast, IIRC. Must be something about that console that favours this type of games.

I love them both but I thought LOK was actually way better. As fun as Shadowman can be I also thought the settings get really repetitive really fast and keeping the weapon types so limited made it a little on the boring side. STILL, to anyone on the fence, I would recommend it at this price, especially for the NPCs.
