As we informed you earlier this week, today we're hosting a live Q&A with CD Projekt RED Senior Producer Tomasz Gop about The Witcher 2. Because the link and the password for the stream has appeared around the web (that's shocking! :)) we decided to let you guys, our beloved community, know how to log in to the stream and join us during the Q&A. The stream begins today at 5:00 p.m. GMT and you can attend it by visiting this link and entering the password: goodoldgames. We'll be revealing some cool stuff and you'll be able to ask your own questions as well, so don't miss it out.

EDITED: 7.20 PM Warsaw time
We've finished the Live Q&A now, guys. Thanks a million for all of you who showed up and asked questions. If you missed your chance at the live version, you can still see the video (and all of the awesome stuff that we talk about in it) by going to http://www.ustream.tv/channel/the-witcher-2-live-q-a and watching the recording.

Remember: if you heard us answer your question on Ustream, please be sure to drop us a note at users@gog.com with your user name, the question we answered, and what game title you'd like to receive from the GOG catalog. Please note this includes current games only, and can't be redeemed for The Witcher 2.

Smannesman: I don't have the time to scour the internets for who 'started' it
Neither do I, but I think I'll trust GoG on that one :p
Or, at least I read their posting this way:

GOG.com: Because the link and the password for the stream has appeared around the web (that's shocking! :)) we decided to let you guys, our beloved community, know how to log in to the stream

Smannesman: If you're that hung up on it, GOG are idiots for posting the information as well.
They should've e-mailed it directly to those people with pre-orders.
avatar
Fujek: As far as I understand this, they DID send the password/link to the people who pre-ordered by email, but as the news were spread anyway, they decided to invite their whole community as a 'counter measure', effectively leaving the stupid guys who spread the information with no meaning/pleasure.
You're correct!

I don't care . Passing .
The thing about the password was, that all you had to do was "preorder" the game on Gog. Which just meant clicking the preorder button and then you can decide to not buy the game later. So it was kind of weird to put a password on the Q&A at all other than for marketing purposes I guess.

zebber: It seems silly to make this sort of thing a pre-order bonus. The details of it would come out one way or another, and this is the type of event that should be used to draw interest and orders, not to just appeal to people already committed to ordering.

Personally, I just think GOG meant for it to happen this way, and used it as a way to say "pre-order Witcher 2" a couple more times.

There's nothing wrong with that of course, other than how clumsy it looks.
As I posted, there is no commitment to buy the game from a Gog preorder. It says this in the FAQ. Just click preorder and you get the download for the goodies (just the artwork and stuff). You don't pay for it until it's released, and even then you can choose to not buy it.

If you do buy it, that's when you get the other goodies like the free game and the soundtrack and whatever else.

Same here. I guess it's good old gamers being slow with their streams *grins*
Can we ask our questions here also? Would be much more convenient... :)
How the hell do you ask a question?
Watching it, very interesting, missed the first bit with most of the gameplay bit except for the very end. :( Dunno if I'm signed in or something, can't see myself on the side list.
lol the chat looks like bots spamming stuff
