Crosmando: Ehhh, I know nothing about Bulgaria, my thought is just that as essentially the creator/designer of UFO Defense, he would be able to generate press attention etc by doing a Kickstarter, meaning he could hire more people and put together a small team
why should he have a small team? he is coding himself and he has hired an artist already...

He's going to program the entire game himself?

Well, anyway, just saying that I personally would get behind any crowdfunding effort because he's a proven good designer, I don't think I would be alone on that.

Chaos Reborn is going to be crowd funded.

Yeah I think that Julian is a bit of an old school lone wolf auteur type - Like Jeff Minter only with less drugs and farmyard animals!

A bump on this one?

The kickstarter is over long time ago, and it was successful with a good margin.

It is now possible to pre-order Chaos Reborn directly from the developers website: http://www.chaos-reborn.com/

There are several tiers available for pre-order, the lowest is $20, and it includes Early Access (for those who want), soundtrack and art book, a good deal, I think.

Chaos Reborn has also been released on Steam Early Access (http://store.steampowered.com/app/319050/), and the Steam page show off tha latest versions. At the moment, the single player campaign is not yet implemented, only the online PvP skirmishes. This is due to focusing on game mechanics and balancing before adding other features (which I think is a correct choice). It is shaping up nicely, and may become one of the sleeper hits next year.
