Sup People,

Some of you might know that for much of this year Czech developer Coreplay has been developing a party-based RPG called Chaos Chronicles, and have been releasing screenshots and keeping a regularly updated blog on their design philosophy. Anyway they released a first trailer just today if anyone is interested.

The game is turn-based and uses the 3.5 OGL (Open Game License) system, which if you aren't familiar with is the open-source version of the Dungeons & Dragons 3.5 edition, the OGL 3.5 was used as the basis of the now very popular Pathfinder tabletop rpg, and also the semi-recent indie RPG Knights of the Chalice.
Looks interesting. I'll have to keep an eye on this one.

Thanks for bringing it to my attention.
Also, strangely enough, the game is apparently funded by the Bavarian/German government
in my veins pls
Cross our fingers it comes to GOG.

Don't forget to check it out on the wishlist.
Looks awesome!
Unless they fuck it up in some way (which I doubt), this is going to be a day 1 purchase.
There are so many new RPGs, yet so few with the features that I actually want - turn-based combat and full party creation.

I'll probably jump on this one when it comes out.

There's Grimoire (lol) which looks basically like Wizardry 7 with prettier gfx, I know everyone is skeptical of this game ever coming out, but it seems like a demo is coming soon.
GOTY 2013!
Thanks for the heads up Crosmando, I would totally buy that game on day one as well.
Wow, that looks good. I added it to my watched games on GS so I can keep tabs on it.

Thanks for letting us know.
