I used to like Christmas very much, all these lights and decorations,etc. And I like snow, so white Christmas were somewhat magical to me. Also, I like being with my family and Christmas were ideal for this. But things have changed, and celebrating Christmas is not something I'm looking for. :/

I am not in but I would like to engage in the discussion portion and comment on some of the games offered if that's ok. :) Christmas, to me, used to be much more family oriented back when I was younger than it currently is now. Back then, it was school break and my family could spend time together watching movies, eating out, and going to special mass times for the holidays. Now a days, with everyone pretty much busy with other duties in life such as work, we cherish what little time we can get just being with others. If we can get everyone available, maybe going to mass is an option or some recreational activity. Gift giving is still there, but it is much more constricted I guess in how I spend the times with others when I got older. It was such a different time with my younger experiences with Christmas since as a kid, the wonder of getting materials from family had this feeling like it was a second birthday or something. Now though, it's more of an opportunity to just be grateful that the people around me made it just one more year and to be happy to give to others than to receive.

As for a few of the games, I am currently playing (at a snail's pace with casual gaming behavior) The Cat Lady and that leading ladies bundle looks like a nice bundle for anyone for that alone (in my opinion anyway). It is depressing but also mysterious as to how Susan's problems are explored. The first Chapter may detract the player by it's depressing theme (although one should go in knowing it will be explored) but the presentation is sort of uplifting in how there are bright colors for scenes in an otherwise gloomy beginning. Pid, on the other hand, seems like a quirky platformer that has some neat potential for fun relaxing gameplay. I never played it but I recently discovered the full Steam version of No Time to Explain, and after playing the flash version a couple times in my past and recently, I am currently enjoying the beginning of the game. It is frustrating but the screaming guy is pretty funny and making it to the end is always satisfactory. Plus, the ways you encounter your various future selves is awesome to me. It is an extension to my flash game experience and I look forward to playing more. Pid has that danger to it too, relaxing but potentially frustrating if you die a lot (like most platformers but some are more challenging than others). The use of various items and presentation though seems like a worthy platformer for anyone's gog library.

As none of the regulars showed enough interest for the first bundle, all prizes without entries so far are now open to entrants with 100 rep or more, no matter the time of reg (with some forum participation)! the rest are open for entries as before.

I love Christmas because we made a nice tradition with my loved ones. The biggest gift we are making for ourselves and our loved ones: each of us try to be a better person but not for the time of Christmas only but forever. I'll just give you a few examples of successful becoming-a-better-person gifts for everyone (not all of them are mine though):
- Giving up smoking
- Not going to work on weekends but spending time with family
- One day in a month is reserved for the family to celebrate and being happy because we are together
- Saying "thank you" more often.
etc. (sorry but others are very personal). That's the best gifting idea we've ever had!
