Yes. it's official, I've flipped my lid.
Anyways, I'm developing a Sonic themed medical drama based on the long running UK show "Casualty" (thus the name Casualty @ Station Square". It takes place in an alternate Sonic timeline in the year 2019 with familiar faces in unfamiliar occupations. That's right folks, Sonic is no longer getting his adrenaline high from running into robots and making goo-goo eyes at Princess Elise (Sonic 06 reference). Instead he's the leading attending physician of Station Square Memorial Hospital's Emergency Department. But what would Sonic be without Eggman? The Big Man is the Chief of Staff of the Emergency Department, and Sonic has his eye on Ivo's job. Backing our hero up is Chief Resident Dr. Amadeus Miles "Tails" Prower II, who could recite the process of resolving a pneumothorax while doing it. Unfortunately Tails is ignorant of his social skills and hospital politics, much like a certain doctor played by Hugh Laurie (without the drug problem and the bad attitude). But his social life is starting to come back from a little help from Ivo's cousin, Maria Robotnik who Tails actually saved two years prior.
Then we have Knuckles as a hotheaded trauma surgeon, whose intolerance of the Chief of Surgery's blunders (and the punch in the face that he gave him), brought him from General Surgery to the ED. Finally to even out the level of hormones is the Department's head nurse, Amy Rose. That's right, she's better looking, less annoying, and for you guys with cougar fixations...she's in her 30s.
Then you have Vector (cooler than ice and a bruiser) and Mighty (the glory seeker) as paramedics for the Station Square Ambulance Service,
Casualty @ Station Square is in open development. I'm currently working on the pilot episode, and could use some voice actors. For future episodes, I'm willing to take on guest writers, new characters and voice actors to go with them. I'm completely open to new ideas and those ideas will be looked at regardless who they come from. If you're interested in joining up, either post in this thread or get ahold of me by IM or e-mail

Sounds like the time someone told me about peanut butter and chocolate...
Which of course tells me two things. One, that people like strange combinations, and Two, people will sell anything!
Anyway, I'm rambling slightly, so I'll get back on topic...
Casualty and Sonic? It's so crazy it might just be brilliant. My question would be, there are lots of secondary characters in Casualty, so who are those going to be? are you gonna make up new characters, or take ones from other SEGA games?
Depends on who I reckon would match what supporting role. Like I said, pretty open development and if it kicks off well enough, you may very well see me come up with something in the vein of Holby City. Such as well... Station Square!

uh..?
I see someone's been hanging out too much with Weclock.
I do not know this person, and if I did I would not associate with them.
Once I read "based on the long running UK show "Casualty"", I pretty much stopped reading it.
Are you on something?

Sonic gets a lot of mashups, but a medical drama is probably a new one.
I'll give my usual advice and that is: People (other than sonic fans, in this instance) are more likely to help, and lend talent, if you can show something first. Does not matter on the quality, people like to see you have some kind of commitment before they give theirs.
While initial ideas are easy to expand: Look to finishing the rough draft of the storyboard/script so people have something to look at.

No comment. Though I will tell you this isn't going to be a soap. Think of something in the vein of House and ER.

You do realize what kind of show Casualty actually is, right?
You also do realize who the Sonic characters are, right?
I mean, I'm all for a Sonic Bold and the Beautiful, or even a Sonic Young and the Restless, or hell, why not a Sonic Price is Right, but this is just crazy.
Crazy yes, but it's not like I'm doing it for money or anything. Just entertainment. There are sites up: Casualty @ Station Square website, SourceWiki entry. And of course there's the image attachments. Note that MHS is NOT a typo but refers to the Mobian Health Service, which is a little combination of the UK's NHS, the Canadian and U.S healthcare systems with some twists.
