Namur: I've got two captions in mind for one of the pics.

I have ideas for Duke3D and Obscure, two for the former, one for the latter, and two of these have some connection to the games... But not themselves (haven't ever played Obscure).

Obscure is fun :)
So far none of the captions i have are even remotely connected to any of the games or the characters. I tried to come up with captions somewhat in context with the games/characters but they weren't funny :(

You know what? I think quotes, if they are funny, are even better if not connected to the game itself, as it boosts their originality. Or at least I think so.
(Like I've stated before, my own caption ideas are not connected to the games themselves, and yet have something to do with them... I'll share them once the contest is over, so you know what I meant ;-).)
EDIT:
Nevermind, found it. I'm glad it's not a READING competition or I'd obviously have lost.

Namur: So, do captions that are somewhat related to the general mood of the depicted games/characters stand a better chance or it doesn't matter?

It doesn't matter.
avatar
Namur: Also, are we limited to one entry per pic ? Can we send more that one caption for the same pic ?

You're not limited at all. Also, you don't have to send us all 4 screenshots. If you have a funny idea for only one of these, just send it over.

Awesome. Thanks Cook.
Going to give this a try, I never win anything through lol
sent all four screenshots :) hope they were funny enough (actually i liked only two of them :D )
One question; I have to send screens with captions already filled with text in any graphic program or blank screens and text seperately with description which text is to which character?

You have to put the text in the text bubbles of the characters.

Okay, thanks.
I sent a few in, and I really hope I win something.
If only you could send cash bribes by email.

I know you didn't mean it seriously (or at least I suppose so), but I think it would be a failed idea anyway.
The reward for winning on this contest consists of two parts: a game of your choice and the satisfaction of knowing you've made something remarkable. The latter would be gone by the nature of the act, and you would probably spend more money on bribes than what you win, so the first part is out as well.
