On Disc Downloadable Content sounds like an oxymoron.

They should call it "DLK", downloadable (activation) key

To be fair to Capcom (not something I'd normally do these days), putting unfinished content on the disc, then fixing it up as DLC, is a fairly sensible practice. Keeping the size of the eventual download manageable is good for everyone.

I guess we'll have to wait for them to release it to find out how evil they're being this time. If it's a nice big file, then chances are they're actually doing a significant amount of post-release work. If it's a few kilobytes, then it's just a key to unlock stuff they finished ages ago and they should burn.

No difference to me, their decision to give PS3 owners the full RE series in bundle with 6, while charging the same price for a gimped xbox collection means I am boycotting their games for life.

This happened for the first time with GTA 4 as I recall, and nobody really cares, because it's Rockstar. Rockstar can fuck people in the ass I presume?

(most of the content for "The Damned" DLC, or whatever it was called was already on disc and PC crackers unlocked it ways before the DLC came out)

Hey I played GTA 4 and loved everything about it, and I played GTA 3, Vice City, and San Andreas (my favorite)

You know, I bet I've seen 45 minutes of solid game play from this game by now... I'm seriously not getting the issues with the game. Is it "not like a RE game"? Are we still pretending that RE games are good? They aren't. They're as silly as anything in the movies, fuck the movie probably has a better story by now. Those videos make it look like a pretty fun game, actually, much more clever than Bulletstorm and a host of other games people like to praise on a regular basis.

So, the game could pretty much be shit, I don't actually know since I haven't played it, but none of those videos make it look like a shitty game. I could probably do w/o the quick time events, but none seem overlong so I doubt they'll induce any kind of tedium.
