REGCREATEKEYEX FAILED; CODE 5.
Access is denied.
Can anyone help me out? ive downloaded a few games from
here and never had any problems.......thanks
oh im using windows xp ser pack 3
AMD Athlon 64 processor 3000+
2.00 ghz and 2gigs of ram
dont know what to try next and it could be days before i get an answer from gog.com TY!

Disable anti-virus software for the time of installation.
Sounds like some over-zealous program interfering with files.

Try running as administrator, as well as Thiev's suggestion to disable AV.

Feh, just delete the registry, you don't need it anyway.

I can only imagine when you looked at your un-edited post, and the realization hit you like a bullet lol.

OP, if installing as Administrator doesn't work, try installing it in Safe Mode, see if it does.
