Hopefully, the average will drop with this.
Does anybody know if I can buy it now and later increase the amount like you can with the Humble Indie Bundle?

This is what I was waiting for - didn't want to pay $1.99 since I was only mildly interested in STR and Chivalry.

They didn't in the last bundle. I wrote to them and I think the eventual plan was that I paypal them the extra and they upgrade my page. Not perfect but it worked.

Look interesting, but It's only the alpha - similar to Groupees' Indie Spotlights we get this build and nothing more.

In my humble opinion, they should have put it on Desura - stupid getting all this press but no where to buy it. With the small amount of bundles sold, the PR would have be so worth it. D'oh!
