Well, that's a shame. Though I'm pretty sure she never had high-quality rum. Most people who don't like rum associate it with Captain Morgan or something like that.

Otherwise I would still recommend gin, it's the drink of gods.

Suggestion? Include a bottle of champagne along with the rum...no woman can complain about a bottle of bubbly ;-p
