frostcircus: God, Bobby Prince was such an awful, awful composer

Bobby Prince made the music for Commander Keen. That makes him a god, and gods cannot be awful, awful composers.
EDIT: It appears that he only made music for Keen 3.5, and the song was cut due to memory shortage. Whoops. But that Blake Stone theme sounds pretty neat.

He'd write about 6% of a good song, and then copy and paste it into oblivion. Ick.

He made music for the entire Goodbye Galaxy! episode pack and Aliens Ate My Babysitter.

Very true. Just listen to his stuff, it all follows the same kind of structure and style. As I said, nothing impressive, but I still LIKE the songs.

Oh, in that case, he IS a god!
He would've made a better band member than a composer. In a band he would've contributed to greatness, as a composer he just contributed to RSI of the eardrum.

I agree. But you can't defeat history: Commander Keen, Wolfenstein 3D, DOOM, Duke Nukem 3D...
iD owns the rights to Commander Keen, and the Wolfenstien games. I know because I bought them under the iD pack on steam during the holiday sale.
The games are great!

stonebro: Yes, well, turns out that in many of what I thought to be old Apogee titles, they only acted as publishers. For example for Wolf3D, Death Rally, Hocus Pocus, Blake Stone, Raptor: Call of the Shadows.

i agree.
i'd love to play hocus pocus again.
