I have changed my EA password as well. These hackers are getting more and more annoying.
Well I be damn! It all worked right. I have my account back. I think the links may be working now or I am just lucky.

Nonono, Lawful Evil. That way you get the full backing of legal institutions when you take your bloody revenge on the hackers. ;)
-_- Thank god mine wasn't connected to anything important.
Haven't seen anyone post it yet so if you haven't had an email yet this is what you will get:

We recently learned that hackers gained unauthorized access to the decade-old BioWare server system supporting the Neverwinter Nights forums. We immediately took appropriate steps to protect our consumers’ data and launched a thorough ongoing evaluation of the breach. We have determined that no credit card data was compromised from the servers, nor did we ever have or store sensitive data like social security numbers. Our investigation shows that information such as user names, encrypted passwords, email addresses, mailing addresses, names, phone numbers, CD keys and birth dates from these forum accounts on the system may have been compromised, as well as other information (if any) that you may have associated with your EA Account. In an abundance of caution, we have changed your password to ensure account security. Please visit this (removed)to reset your password immediately.

If your link has expired, click here to generate a new email.

We take the security of your information very seriously and regret any inconvenience this may have caused you. If your username, email address and/or password on your EA account are similar to those you use on other sites, we recommend changing the password at those sites as well. We advise all of our fans to always be aware of any suspicious emails or account activity and report any suspicious emails and account activity to Customer Support at 1-877-357-6007.

If you have questions, please visit our FAQ at (support link) or contact Customer Support at the phone number above.

Got it this morning.
I've just got it now as well. -_-
Got it as well, changed my EA password, tested it with Bioware Social seemed to work.

Got folks in local forums reporting difficulty trying to login to BFBC and other games that ask for logins.

I just tried with Dragon Age 2. Login successful with the new password.
I too got the mail. Don't really remember registering in NWN forum though..

So it's safe to click the link in the mail? It's not a scam or anything? It sure did look a bit...fishy at first :)
Got the email this morning, didn't have a nwn account, but I did register a bioware account to get the free DLC for Mass Effect.
Worst thing is, for non-crucial things like a throwaway account like that I might've used a low-security password for it which I used otherwhere. But I can't figure out which password I used back then so I don't even know that. Oh well, time to go about making proper passwords for all my accounts I'd hate to to lose.

I sure hope it's safe. I've clicked it after ensuring it leads to the ea.com site and not some redirect or @lesssafesite.com address,

I got two e-mails, one for my old BioWare account that I used to register Mass Effect (to get the expansion) and Neverwinter Nights, and one for a newer EA account - of course, the old BioWare account has been converted to an EA account whenever that conversion was run.
