michaelleung: The irony of this statement is that Geek Squad don't actually anything at all these days

Miaghstir: You accidentally the verb "do" there?

No, that was on purpose. Because I was trying to demonstrate the lack of education these buffoons have. Yeah, that's right!

DelusionsBeta: So, in general it'll be like Currys, but American. And yellow. Amirite?

Based on what I see on the Currys website, yes.
If you must know, Best Buy is mostly blue and grey, though their logo is yellow.

He's Chinese, so it's excusable.

Hmm... Currys have more washing machines. But yeah, pretty similar.
I only use Best Buy in emergiencies, otherwise steer clear. Don't use the Geek Squad, they are horrible. They do have a large selection of stuff if you want to browse, but their prices are nothing amazing. Fry's is WAY better IMO.

Right then, Best Buy is an American Currys. In other words, little interest for the UK (except for COMPETITION, but we already have Argos)

Still . . . you might get some great price wars . . . =)
I wouldn't get excited over it, but it's a good store to have.
Best Buy has a great selection of CDs, actually. Or the one in my area does.

It probably depends. There are two Best Buys in my area, and one is significantly larger than the other. The smaller one has a terrible selection of music - just a few shelves. The larger one is a fair bit better (though they never have anything I like).
Naturally, a bigger store means a bigger selection, but the music section seems to have suffered disproportionately.

One thing to note, in the past there have been several Best Buy exclusive pack-ins with both movies and games. I'm not fond of exclusives, and I haven't even been to a Best Buy, but if Best Buy is in your area, at least you have the opportunity of obtaining the extra bonuses.
OP: No, BB has sucky return policies and the people there usually don't know anything about computers, except Geek Squad, but there's usually only 3 or so in the store. If Circuit City was still around I'd say Yes.

Fixed that for you.
