Howdy all,
Just thought I'd let you know of a little gaming gem I discovered recently (though a little slow on the uptake as it's not tremendously new). I've done a search and haven't found anyone else posting so perhaps it'll be new to you folks too.
Ben There Dan that is a cracking little point and click adventure very much in the style of those classic Lucasarts games. It's completely free, so go get it and try it out (and donate some dosh as I did if you like it).

There's also a sequel out now which is priced at a stupidly reasonable £2.99 (or $5 ish) that looks to be more of the same. Check it out, play it, tell your friends!

Here's an interview about it.

A very impressed review here.
Yeah it really is very good, particularly if you're a fan of all the old school adventures. Seriously, it should be far more popular than it is.
It appears that this game is now being pirated and the devs are awfully depressed about it. Everyone go and buy it to make them feel better - you won't regret it! Seriously, this game plays just as well as all those classic lucasarts adventures.

Pirated?? For gods sake what is wrong with people.
1 - The original game is free play that instead
2 - It only costs £2.99 about the same as a pint. That is pocket change prices, I have £2.99 in my pocket right now (well i would have if that choclolate bar hadn't called me to the vending machine) and I will throw each penny at anyone I find to have pirated this game.
sorry rant over.

Indeed (and damn you, now I want chocolate).
Anyway - I'm actually surprised more gog'ers haven't checked this out, it's so old school that it almost should be sold here, despite that it's only a month old.
Perhaps I should have named the topic "FREE GAME PLUS BOOBS!" or something to that effect.
Well technically boobs are never more than 1 click away on the web so it's kinda true.
Anyway I downloaded this the other day can't wait to try it but I'm having trouble with getting it to run in a window. Does look good and I am always up for supporting UK indie developers. Nice find Nafe.

Windowed mode is easily accessible through the setup menu in the program group, or winsetup.exe in the install directory. The second game which is £2.99 is quite a bit more polished but both are aces-mcwin™.
Yeah that does work although it doesn't seem to be very friendly with Windows 7 disabling the desktop effects but still at least I can still see my other monitor.
Been playing it a little and if nothing else it's quite funny and as you mentioned free!
They should try getting their stuff on Steam, Metaboli or Impulse to really get sales driving I mean support from Steam is the only reason Introversion are still in business.
This is now on Steam for £2.99 whatever the equivalent is in your strange backward currencies :).
GET IT!
I only recently got around to trying and completing the first game. It's actually funny, which is a suprise in adventure games today. Once I'm in the mood for another adventure game this is a defiant buy.

The second is better in almost every way - and a fair bit longer too.
I have come to notice that it is only the Britzies who have come to take notice of this.
I know about this little gem via PC gamer magazine.
Well done them for getting it into Steam! But I do prefer having DRM free games.

Same here. After reading the release announcement on Steam I went to the Zombie Cow website to get the games from there instead. Looking forward to start playing!
Also, I can't believe I'm the first from outside the UK to reply in this thread. C-C-C-COMBO BREAKER!
