Oh, I thought this was going to be, 'despite the HD graphics, its still the same game, and some of the characters even look worse such as Samus.'

I'd say this is unlikely tho since he's the only consistent Fire Emblem character in the last two and they re-released his game in English, so he's probably more relevant than he used to be.
Like I said, I put as a borderline cut mostly because while fire emblem is having it quite nice right now, I kinda see Ike as more the lead in the newer titles.

Ike appeared in 2 games for the Gamecube and one for the Wii. IMO he is likely to get cut because the new Fire Emblem for 3DS has new characters. Marth should be safe for being the original lord.
I hope FE gets 3 characters this time, Marth and 2 lords from FE Awakening.

What's confusing? I feel Nintendo is setting the bar at the beginning to make good games instead of great games. Miyamoto is free to prove me wrong all day.

Gydion: Correct me if I'm wrong, but Super Smash Bros is one of Nintendo's most popular titles. They used put forth a lot more effort into them, or maybe that's just nostalgia.

Henry should be in instead of Marth, more audiences probably recognize him at this point and he has clearly defined personality.
Leave Ike in.
