Not that many would know, but where I live there was an ice storm that knocked out all power for about the last 60 hours.
I live more in the woods and so it has been interesting with no power, water or phone for the last 2 plus days. I hope not to have to do it any time soon again! :o)
Anyway, it is nice to be back.

I'm assuming you had plenty of time to read and nap. At least you're ok though!
Yeah, I heard about Ice Storms, you probably live near where my work services.
Good to hear you're safe.

SPAM IS TASTEY YUM YUM YUM
What I mean to say, is that our friend Faithful here, feels very attached to this community, so much so that he decided to share his wellbeing with us. While it may be in an inappropriate place, there really is no place here to say to other forum members "I love you, I missed you while I was away." And that in essence, is what his post is saying. While it may seem like spam, or a pointless thread, to Faithful, being able to express himself as such was highly important.

did you see the image?
Thanks Weclock, et al.
I indeed was not looking for sympathy; this is after all is the internet, but simply wanted to point out that it is nice to be back after about 2.5 days with no power and a disrupted life.
I do indeed enjoy (most) of the gog community and it is a site I frequent throughout the day just to check in and see what is happening.
Thanks again and thanks to those who offset the negatives.

It was the reason, which pushed me to spam. It wasn't my fault. I can't take more beating.. Please...

I saw pictures of it on the news tonight (in Denmark). It looked crazy :-/
2+ days? Good survival skills there.
I almost went mad during the summer heat waves early this decade when we had power rationing for a couple of hours per day.
Kinda sad that I'm addicted and dependent on technology that much really :)

...wait, time paradox, TIME PARADOX
Thanks guys, it was quite interesting trying to stay in the home and keep everything going. I am pleased that Walmart opened for a short time and I got there when they still had some good candles to purchase (and snacks)!
:o)
I think it could have been a lot worse but I am hoping to not see it again if possible.
It is amazing what you can do when you have to, in order to keep everything running as normal as possible.
I definitely missed the PC more than the TV no question about it.
