This event is run by a gathering of speed runners.
Awesome Games Done Quick is SDA's charity marathon benefiting the Prevent Cancer Foundation. The marathon runs January 6-12.

Just in brief speedrun is done to achieve the best time to finish the game possible . This yearly event is pretty popular even notch tweeted about it.
