Nah its cool I was actually only joking I didn't send the above message in.
And to necro a thread... I normally wouldn't do this....

but ALL WE HAVE IS A FUCKING REBADGED MA15+ RATING

Saints Row IV has been refused classification in Australia... even after introducing an R18 rating...
The longer I:m out of that bloody country the better I'll be...
Politicians et al can all go smoke a pole as far as I'm concerned
So what became of the MA15+ rating?

Deciding what even adults can see. That's government for you!
Have to question the people who form the Board and also the people who judge whether it passes or not the criteria.
Does this mean the content will be have to be rejigged? Or aussies simply wont be able to buy the game?
fucking disgraceful

I was kind of expecting them to pull something like this
What time zone is Australia in, 1952?

YouPickOne: What time zone is Australia in, 1952?
Apparently.
We're going to end up going even further backwards if a certain political party wins next election.

It'll just mean we buy it overseas, all this does is screw over local retailers and once again makes the classification board look even more out of touch than before we had an R18 rating. At least back then they had the excuse that there was no R rating, now their agenda is clear.

In other news "Old McDonald had a classification board, ee eye ee eye oh."
Fuck this shit, isn't Witcher 2 here on GOG also censored because it was refused classification.

What the fuck is it with overbearing dickheads in government here who want to regulate their morality onto everyone else. I bet none of the people who even put pen to paper on making these laws have even played a video game, and live in some hysterical fairy-land of "WE HAVE TO PROTECT THE CHILDRENZ FROM GAMES!!111".

I would say this means I'm going to vote against the government in Sep, but then again the Libs would probably be even WORSE on this type of thing (if that's possible) so I guess we're truly trapped. Except of course until everyone just pirates the uncensored US version and the govt gets no GST revenue from it. Real smart one there.
EDIT: Fuck this, I'm so angry I'm going to email my federal representative (who is an independent) to ask about this.
