Happened to me too the first time I looked at that FAQ. ;) I then even tried to find the information I was looking for with Ctrl-F, which of course doesn't work on hidden items either. ;)

For those worried about the whole Joystick thing - X3 is very keyboard/mouse friendly [much more so than its predecessors - and AP is an X3 expansion/addon]. You can use your mouse to fly [a bit like Freelancer] by pressing Space when in flight mode [eg: no menus open]. WASD are used for thrusters to help make more precise turns [and in avoiding missiles ;)] and QE rotate the ship.

I don't use a gamepad or joystick for X3 - I use a gamepad for X2 though [Logitech Rumblepad 2 - works great with custom button mapping via the Logitech Game Profiler]

The only time you will definitely want to revert to turning your ship with the keyboard is when you are in a carrier or destroyer ;)
It would take a LOT of mousepad-crossings to make a u-turn in one of those...

Well, GG X3: Albion Prelude page also states everyone who owns the superbox will get the expansion for free but even if they gave it I would never be able to use it due to it being steamworks title (the other X games arent and they are now even DRM free). So far only couple steamworks games also have had non steamwork release (at least one of them doesn't get any official support so no patches :-() so it's unlikely we'll see fixed version (other than unofficial sources) any time soon, if ever.

Data only expansion - though it adds more tweaks to the engine [via config settings I am guessing]. You need TC to play AP.

If Egosoft releases a DRM-less retail patch adding support and engine features to retail TC, I just might try to apply it over TC+AP.

just found this out but those that own the physical x superbox (like me) the cd key can be used on steam and gives you a steam copy too, including the albion prelude

Like some other games gg has a problem with setting the corect list price, so you can grab it for 6,70€ or for on the UK-shop for 5 pound. US price seems with 20$ the correct one.
