I play a lot of Dwarf Fortress, used to play Net Hack, and am currently trying to get into Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup. I was wondering if anyone knew of some lesser known games that are primary ASCII in its visuals, or influenced by it. Preferably not just rogue likes (since that would be the first thing to come to mind). Bonus points if the game is very obscure and unknown, double bonus points if you are currently making one yourself!

Look for "Liberal Crime Squad" by Bay 12 Games(makers of Dwarf Fortress). It is a strange humorous political RPG-sim and very cool.
Brogue is really neat roguelike with very nice ASCII graphics.

Thanks, I think I'll try it out. It appears to use ASCII in a non-blinding and well thought out way that makes everything easy to see. Normally when someone puts ascii into a game it can look really bad because they put the wrong colors with the wrong characters, or assign each character to a certain tile/object/person without putting much thought into it. But this looks like a good example of ASCII adding to the visual style and look.
