That is kind of the question but I have another one.
If the servers are in fact located in Cyprus then why do I not have an option to pay with PaySafeCard? I choose to buy The Witcher 3 but as soon as I was directed to choose how I would pay there was no option for PaySafeCard.
I know some countries are not yet supported but it is kind of silly that the servers are located in Cyprus but still no PaySafeCard is available in my country. I will add proof so people won't call me a troll or anything.

gog's main offices are located in poland

the payment part is located in cyrprus for ah reasons

the actual servers are located in cyrprus the uk poland and canada

but gog and their parent company cd projekt red are polish

GOG uses Akamai's ADN, so they should have servers worldwide, and you should be directed to the one closest to you. Not so sure where their secure servers are though, or if they are different.

You did have options though, right? All countries should have access to credit card and paypal, and maybe more payment methods. The checkout screen defaults to the credit card option, but pressing the small x on the right side of the screen should allow you to choose from the other options. Moment to go take a sceenshot.

Hm, may be Edgecast instead of Akamai, have to recheck at some point.

It's Edgecast. They used to pull all downloads from an Edgecast domain, but lately I see they use cdn.gog.com, which currently points to an Edgecast IP address.
